Returns & Exchanges
Returns are accepted within ______ days of delivery. (Industry standard is 30 days. Lorier and Traska both run 30; some microbrands offer 60 to reduce first-purchase hesitation. Longer windows measurably improve conversion for unknown brands.)
To be eligible, the watch must be unworn, undamaged, and returned in its original packaging with all tags, links, and included accessories. (Standard practice — most brands specify "unworn" rather than "unused," since sizing a bracelet doesn't count as wearing it. Worth deciding whether removed links void the return.)
Return shipping is arranged and paid for by the customer, using the carrier of their choice. The parcel remains the customer's responsibility until it reaches us, so we recommend a tracked and insured service.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method within ______ business days of the return arriving and passing inspection. (3–5 business days is typical; Shopify processes most refunds in 5–10 depending on the card issuer.)
______ (Do you deduct a restocking fee? Most microbrands don't — it reads as punitive. Leaving this out is usually the better call.)
Contact us before returning anything so we process it as an exchange rather than a return.
Once your original watch arrives and passes inspection, we'll ship the replacement. Return shipping is at your expense; we cover shipping on the replacement.
If the replacement costs more, the difference is settled before the new watch ships. If it costs less, we refund the difference to your original payment method.
Exchange requests must be made within ______ days of delivery. (Usually matched to the return window.)
Every returned watch is inspected on arrival. We check for wear on the case and bracelet, damage to the crystal, and signs of use beyond handling. (Being explicit here protects you and sets expectations. Vague approval standards are what produce disputes.)
Returns that don't meet these conditions may be refused or subject to a partial refund. We'll contact you before taking either step.
- ______ (Your $1 reservation? Decide now — it's advertised as fully refundable anytime, so it probably should be exempt from the standard window.)
- Watches with removed or damaged authenticity cards ______ (Common, since the card carries the serial. Your call.)
- Custom or personalized items ______ (Not applicable yet, but worth including if engraving is ever on the roadmap.
If your watch arrives damaged or isn't what you ordered, contact us within ______ days with photos. (7 days is common for shipping damage claims — carriers impose their own deadlines, so don't set this longer than your carrier allows.) We'll cover return shipping and replace it at no cost.
